Browser Support

We build up from what your browser supports: if a feature is missing, the test explains why and offers an alternative instead of breaking.

Common limitations

  • Web MIDI: Chrome and Edge (desktop and Android). Limited or unavailable in Safari and Firefox.
  • Vibration: Android browsers only — not iPhone or iPad.
  • Camera and microphone need a secure (HTTPS) connection.
  • Some sensors need explicit permission on iPhone and iPad, and are unavailable in certain browsers.
  • Browsers deliberately hide some device details, so a few readings are approximate.

Recommended

For the widest coverage, use a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
