Why it exists

Most “device test” sites overstate what a browser can measure. TestOnDevice only claims what standard Web APIs can actually deliver, and clearly labels estimates, subjective checks, and unsupported features.

Principles

  • Everything runs locally. Nothing you record is uploaded.
  • Permissions are requested only after you click — never on page load.
  • No fabricated hardware diagnoses, and no dark patterns.
