We use progressive enhancement: if an API is missing, the test explains why and offers a fallback instead of breaking.
Common limitations
- Web MIDI: Chrome and Edge (desktop/Android). Limited or unavailable in Safari and Firefox.
- Vibration API: Android browsers only — not iOS Safari.
- Camera/microphone: require a secure (HTTPS) context.
- Some sensors require explicit permission on iOS and are unavailable in certain browsers.
- User-Agent reduction means some device info is approximate or hidden by design.
Recommended
For the widest coverage, use a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari, served over HTTPS.
